DECIDE
Career choices competencies for the post-pandemic future using multicriteria decision-making or shortly DECIDE is a KA220-YOU – partnership in youth. It runs from September 2022 to February 2024, with 5 partners from 4 European countries – Slovenia, Greece, Poland, and Bulgaria.
The main goal of the project is to strengthen the employability of young people. Young people today face a rapidly changing world and an uncertain future due to environmental and socio-political conditions at the global level. At DECIDE, we wish to address the need for an ever-changing labour market and work position transitions in the upcoming years, introducing the need for a new spectre of competencies in young people e.g., green job profiles, digital competencies inquiry, and interdisciplinary work skills. We will develop the tools and methods to facilitate young people’s career-based multicriteria decision-making via personalized adaptive learning, which will enable them to better identify the missing competencies, necessary for sustainable and innovative job profiles and highlight their strong points and entrepreneurship potential.
The Project aims to empower young people with multicriteria guidelines and tools on career path decision-making and competencies needed for future innovative job profiles, allowing them to re-think their current career path decision as well as offering them a list of key competencies they lack and that could be beneficial to acquire via self-learning or via non-formal education short courses and e-learning.
Target groups of the project:
The most relevant target group are young people (18-25 years old) that are at the beginning of achieving their personal independence (e.g., studying, getting their first employment, creating their own households, …) as they are becoming responsible for their choices within communities and wider.
To reach the most suitable target groups in receiving the empowerment and new competencies in the career decision-making process to foster better self-confidence and their added value awareness, as well as the possibility to gain specific new competences
